Welcome to The Carmelite Monastery of Our Lady and St. Thérèse
‘Let There Be Light’ 2024
Praised Be Jesus Christ!
Dear our beloved supporters,
We are happy to announce the completion of our “Let There Be Light” capital campaign!! Through your generosity, you have provided our beloved Monastery and Sisters with a source of funds to install the solar power system, which is much needed to mitigate the growing cost of our electric bills.
This momentous milestone was achieved by your support and generosity and through the collaborative efforts of our volunteers. Therefore, we express our profound gratitude to you and all our volunteers. As we begin to prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of our Monastery, your gift allows us to continue our cloistered contemplative community and life of prayer. We recognize the Carmelite’s journey is not for herself alone. Our life of prayer and friendship with God affects the lives of countless others, including you as one of our generous donors. Your support also shows a commitment that ensures the continuation of the spiritual Catholic practice by all of us.
We finished the “discovery stage” of the project and are underway in starting the main part of the solar power system installation. Please stay tuned for more information and status updates as the project progresses.
We extend our profound gratitude and promise of prayers for your generous support. We will have a Mass of Thanksgiving for your intentions. Details of the Mass will be shared with you soon!
God reward you for your support,
Mother Teresita, OCD and Community

“Our life with God draws us to the deepest empathy with the sorrows, the joys and the hopes so confidently entrusted to our prayers each day”
We are Discalced Carmelite Nuns, daughters of St. Teresa of Avila. We are consecrated to Jesus Christ by a life of unceasing prayer lived in a cloistered community of women. His love has called us to live together as sisters in a small family in order to help one another and to pray for the needs of the Church and the world.
Our life with God draws us to solidarity with the sorrow, the joys and the hopes so confidently entrusted to our prayers each day.
We lift these concerns daily to the heart of God, Who is Love and Who understands our every need.
